BTEC / Vocational Courses
Vocational courses come in a wide range of levels, suitable for
people of all abilities, so regardless of your GCSE grades you
should be able to find a course for you. Taking this route can also
lead to University level study. For more about levels check out
the infographic on page 13. Vocational courses relate to specific
areas of work, rather than academic subjects. In many vocational
courses you will build a portfolio of evidence and have regular
assignments rather than exams. You may have some exams but
usually this makes up a smaller proportion of your final grade.
