Decisionz Issue 2 Spring 2020 - Page 27

4 Prepare questions to ask them
You’re going to be answering quite a few questions, but the ones
you ask say just as much about you (if not more) so think about
your questions. Avoid ‘me, me, me’ questions and ask questions
that turn the interview into a conversation and show you’re
interested in the company and the position.
5 Research the company
Knowing nothing at all about the company you’ve applied to is a
real ‘no no’, so take some time to study the website and get as
much information as you can. You don’t want to get caught out
by a question you’re expected to know; believe me I’ve done it
and it’s a serious cringe-making moment!
